As a Friends of the Folds member, Acadia Residential is proud to partner with the Folds of Honor to support the families of fallen and disabled service members.

Folds of Honor

Founded in 2007 by Major Dan Rooney, Folds of Honor is dedicated to providing educational scholarships to children and spouses of fallen and disabled service members. Major Rooney was an F-16 pilot in the Oklahoma Air National Guard, and throughout his military career, he became all too aware of the challenges that military families must endure when a loved one is killed or disabled in the line of duty. Knowing he had to take action to help these families, Major Rooney founded Folds of Honor and dedicated his life to changing the future of these families.

Their motto says it all: “Honor their sacrifice, educate their legacy,” and Folds of Honor has lived up to this mission with nearly 16,000 scholarships provided to the spouses and children of our fallen and disabled service members. Thanks to the numerous partnerships and sponsors Folds of Honor has developed, they will continue to support these much deserving families.
